Ainara's Bookshelf

This fun new kids' series gives tween viewers the inside scoop on some of the best middle-grade books that feature diverse characters from diverse creators and provides exclusive interviews with several of their award-winning authors. Each episode sees charismatic 13-year-old host Ainara Alleyne (of Instagram fame) review a favorite book from her modern book loft. Then, she takes viewers along as she crosses North America to fan out with some of her favorite writers, chatting with them about their work, creativity, and the importance of representation. Some authors featured include David A. Robertson (The Barren Grounds), Lawrence Hill (Beatrice and Croc Harry), Jerry Craft (New Kid), and Claribel A. Ortega (Witchlings).

Lady Ada's Secret Society

A live-action, modern coming-of-age comedy about a secret computer club operated by Ava, Tina, Rebelle and Frances at their hyper-traditional boarding school where computers, smartphones, and other modern necessities are banned. Sent there to be turned into 'proper young ladies', the girls rebel by executing clever and over-the-top pranks, using technology they either invent or hack while staying one step ahead of their headmistress who wields enormous power over their futures. As they head towards a huge year-end prank the girls must navigate friendships, betrayals, trolls, romances, and (eek!) school dances with the boys from neighbouring McCall Hall.

All-Round Champion

In the ultimate sporting showdown, ten of the best teen athletes step outside of their own comfort zones and compete against each other in their rivals' sports. Each athlete sits out the competition in their own specialty sport, and instead mentors and coaches the others. Aided by world-renowned sports stars and Olympians, they are scored on skill, sportsmanship, and progress after each challenge. At the end of the series, one hardcore athlete will be crowned the All-Round Champion. It's an emotional and challenging journey of winning, losing, working as a team, and building relationships with peers. Mimi On A Mission

Mimi Missfit is at it again but this time she takes seven teenagers who have faced different mental health challenges to experience a week in the wild going back to basics. They’ll swap their phones and home luxuries for the benefits of the great outdoors, where they’ll be encouraged to open up about their own life and what they’ve dealt with (from self-doubt and lack of confidence, to bullying, anxiety and depression). The debut season saw Mimi tackle thorny subjects with teens around the topic of sex.
