Narrated by award-winning actress Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy, Killing Eve), TRIMATES is a documentary for the whole family. This is a story of two generations of women: the young pioneers - Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey and Birute Galdikas - who set out into the jungles over half a century ago to live with our closest ancestors, the great apes. This is also the story of a generation who followed their articles, transfixed by their stories and determined to follow the same distant paths. While freshmen seek out their place on the team for the next four years, the seniors know this is their last year to secure scholarships to Division 1 NCAA colleges, all a step towards playing in the NBA.
