Australian Wilderness With Ray Mears

In this series wilderness expert Ray Mears returns to one of his favourite places on Earth – Australia – to complete his circumnavigation of the continent. Neu Earth is a place and a time where humanity has triumphed against climate change. What does Neu Earth look like? The answer unfolds through the investigations of a future historian living in 2050 and looking back in time. Key global innovations become apparent: controversial cloud manipulation experiments, the enhancing of photosynthesis to create food and energy, and innovations in construction with bamboo and fungi. Efforts to capture carbon dioxide directly also loom large.
