Author and journalist, Jenn Sharp, takes us on a journey from a meal's beginning to the dinner plate, while taking us through the ingredients' history and cultural significance. Farmers, producers and food artisans show us how they raise and grow their products, while talented chefs committed to feeding people seasonal, sustainable food show us how they create versatile, flavourful dishes from basic ingredients.

Globally famous American food explorer, Adam Richman, is in Britain and he’s hungry! He’s embarking on a unique food tour of the country – using the map as his menu, he’s tracking down some of the world’s most famous dishes that share their names with the places in Britain where they were created.
